Corporación Minera Centauro’s Environmental Policy is to develop their mining operations in a sustainble manner, by carrying responsible environmental practices whilst complying with the current environmental regulations in force. Besides periodic controls and monitoring activities required by law, the company periodically performs internal water, air, soil and biodiversity controls through daily sampling at established monitoring points. Through that, physical-chemical parameters such as ph, conductivity, and temperature, among others are controlled to be within the allowable levels.

 

Following their environmental commitment, Corporación Minera Centauro is pleased to have as main “environmental auditors”, professionals from the neighboring communities that have been duly trained to carry out environmental monitoring complying with the current environmental regulations in force.
