In order to carry out its environmental policies and values, characteristics of Corporación Minera Centauro, the Company promotes sustainable and innovative environmental practices in the mining sector besides developing its Environmental Management Program.

• Pilot animal farms (rabbits, Guinea pigs, trout, among other)

 

• Cultivated pastures on Waste dumps

 

• Crops of Maca and Native potato at the waste dumps at 4,220 masl – Pioneer initiative in the region and the country
